The Cub 3

We went to the Design Museum on Saturday to catch the last day of the Kenneth Grange exhibition… which was amazing. Incredible that one man could be responsible for so many design classics.

One thing that stuck out for me though, was the advertising for the Cub 3 sewing machine from the 70s…

So light, so portable…

Pop it on the back of your bike…

…or stow it in the boot of your car with your slightly scary looking child

But this one has to be my favourite… look at that loving gaze (although to be fair, I’d almost certainly be giving it the glad-eye myself)

Hilariously brilliant. They don’t make them like they used to, that’s for sure…
