February round-up

It’s a short month is February, even with today being a bonus day… which means I have a bit of an excuse for not quite delivering on the goals this month. Ahem.

I totally did my homework for the RSN day… and then some

I didn’t stitch a valentine’s card, but with hindsight that was probably ambitious given the amount of RSN stitching I had to do… (I did pick a great card from Steel Petal Press instead, so my valentine didn’t miss out!)

I’ve made progress on the baby cardigan, but it’s still not quite finished…

I haven’t managed any sketchbook delight lessons, but I did bake the sour cherry cookies!

And the yoga and swimming regime is coming along better since I got myself a yoga dvd. Honestly, you’d have thought I’d be spoilt for choice on the pregnancy yoga front in North London but it’s seemingly impossible to find a class in the week that isn’t in the middle of the day or at 6pm (do pregnant people not work?!). Which means I either simply can’t make them or have to give myself some form of breakdown trying to make it across town in half an hour. So in the end I gave up, did some research and invested in a couple of DVDs. Much easier.

All in all, February’s report would read ‘could do better’. But I’ve decided not to beat myself up about that, because it’s tough to fit in all the crafty bits that you want to do when you work full time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining for a second. Just easing up on myself a bit, being realistic & recalibrating for March…

How did your February turn out?
